Cover, Uncover, Discover
From the breath as a guiding force, my transition toward Cover, Uncover, Discovery,a project that relinquishes intentionality in favor of material autonomy. Here, drawingextends beyond the gesture of the hand—it becomes a negotiation between control andsurrender, presence and erasure, emergence and dissolution.
In this body of work, drawing does not begin and end with the line; rather, it isembedded within a process of transformation, where clay, color, and surface dictatetheir own existence. By abandoning the certainty of intention, I allow the material toself-generate its own language, revealing an intrinsic autonomy that resists imposedstructure. Forms emerge not as dictated compositions, but as traces of interaction—imprints of an unfolding dialogue between artist and matter.
