Converging Boundaries

(29 Aug - 20 Sep 2025) |

Boundaries, once internalized through political and ideological structures, fracture under displacement, leaving identity suspended between collapse and resilience. In this suspended space, unseen pressures take form—dense yet weightless, fragile yet enduring, mapping the invisible weight carried within.

Through wire and thread, I create installations that make this paradox tangible. These materials, simultaneously delicate and resilient, respond to an intuitive process in which my body guides the emergence of form. Through bodily engagement with material, forms emerge organically, shaped by muscle memory and subconscious knowledge rather than conscious intention, embodying a physical density that mirrors the psychological weight of displacement.

Each work enacts a cycle of construction and collapse. Structures appear and dissolve, leaving behind traces that testify to both presence and loss. This process reflects the liminal condition of in-betweenness—where meaning is continuously negotiated and identity remains fluid. The work invites viewers to encounter their own relationship with boundaries, displacement, and the weight of invisible pressures that shape our sense of belonging.
