Lucky Dip 2025 (10 October- 30 November 2025)

Developed over a six-month period through a regional open call led by ‘a space’ arts, Lucky Dip presents new work by eight local artists whose practices span installation, collage, print, textiles, sculpture, and interdisciplinary forms. Supported through project funding and professional curatorial guidance, the exhibition reflects an expanding network of artistic activity across Southampton, strengthened through ongoing regional residencies and collaborative community engagement.

Featuring works by Anya Isabella Isaacs, James Hewins, Jennifer Monteiro, Jude One Eight, Laleh Ghavami, Miku Okita, Rebecca Johnson, and Tracy Dovey, the exhibition brings together diverse narratives, material approaches, and critical reflections shaped by place, memory, heritage, and contemporary lived experience. Presented across two months, the showcase offers an insight into emerging directions within the region’s creative landscape and highlights the importance of sustained support for artist-led development.
